Every wall in this gallery is bare. The art is the visitors.
ONE is an experiment in collective permanence. Each person who enters may do exactly one thing — one choice, made once, kept forever. No edits. No deletions. No second impressions.
There are two rooms. The bloom is free and infinite: you leave the one color you would keep if you could keep only one, and it joins everyone else's, forever. The thousand is 99¢ and finite: one canvas, one thousand marks — lines, circles, squares, hexagons, freehand ink — and when the thousandth mark lands, the artwork is complete and can never change again. Then the next canvas begins.
We are trying to capture the world — not its faces or its opinions, but the quiet, beautiful things it would never otherwise write down.
One account, one mark per canvas. You draw your mark — its shape, size, color, and place are entirely yours, up to 3.3 cm (or 10 cm of freehand ink) on a one-metre canvas. You can adjust it as long as you like. Nothing is final and nothing is charged until you press done — pay 99¢, forever.
When a canvas completes: the shop opens with prints and shirts of the finished work (each one marked with a pointer at your mark), ten members win the shirt in a live drawing held one minute after the final entry, and every member receives the print-resolution artwork, a certificate of entry, and the Badge of the Thousand. Entry is $0.99, once per canvas. Checkout is handled entirely by Stripe — your card number never touches our servers, and we never store payment details.
Refunds: if a canvas completes before your payment settles, or a duplicate payment slips through, you are refunded automatically and in full. Once your mark is placed, it is placed — that is the artwork's one promise to everyone else on it — so placed marks are not refundable.
We keep your email (to know you're you), your marks (they are the art), and — only if you choose to give it — a shipping address for physical rewards, stored encrypted and never shown to anyone. No ads, no trackers, no selling of anything you gave us. Sign-in with Google and other providers, where offered, shares only your email address with us.
